Rebranding A Neighbourhood Institution
As one of Canada’s first retail shopping centres, Lawrence Plaza has been an integral part of the local community as it grew and evolved over the past 63 years. The plaza is unique in that it serves multiple diverse communities that all rely on the plaza for the majority of their grocery, banking and overall shopping needs. Lawrence Plaza features a wide range of stores from some of the largest chains (Winners, Metro, and Shoppers Drug Mart) to unique tenants that can’t be found anywhere else (United Bakers, Crawford Boys and Camp Connection).
We designed a new Brand Visual Identify for Lawrence Plaza that included a new logo and tagline that celebrated not only Lawrence Plaza, but the brands and local favourites that have made it the hub for the surrounding communities.
