Purpose-driven strategy and storytelling agency adds digital and advertising strength to team
Toronto, ON, September 11, 2017 – Kathy Murphy, President of Republic, today announced that Vlad Omazic is joining the Republic team as Account Director reinforcing the trans-disciplinary agency’s commitment to recruiting and fostering great talent from all marketing disciplines.
Omazic is joining Republic from Anomaly. He brings a breadth of expertise from an advertising background, across a variety of disciplines including digital, social, and xm as well as deep account management experience. Omazic has built a respectable resume of successful work including the launch of new integrated brand platforms for a number of Hershey brands including Twizzlers, Jolly Ranchers and Chipits, as well as Converse and Lincoln. Omazic is known for his approach leading collaborative relationships with both internal teams and clients.
“We are building the agency we’ve always wanted to work for, a place where talent from across marketing disciplines can come together to tell the stories of the brands and companies making a difference in their industries and in the world,” says Murphy. “Vlad’s experience and personality are a perfect fit for our unbiased approach to marketing. He’s a fantastic addition to the team and is going to provide value to our clients from day one. And, most importantly, he’s smart, nice and fun.”
Omazic is coming to Republic after the recent announcement of Joline Matika joining the agency as Vice President. The agency recently went to market with a number of new campaigns which made an impact in the Canadian market including the creation and execution of the Everest Curling Challenge on TSN, the launch of Marquee Health Group Limited and two new campaigns designed to drive tourism and attract small business investment for the Town of Bracebridge. Republic also recently won a project with Insurance for Children and continues to bring its purpose-driven strategy to its growing client base.
